Coldwater High School 12th 306

The Middle School Lady Cavalier Cross Country runners travelled to Darke County to race in the Tour De Sewer Invitational at the Versailles Water Treatment Plant. It would be the first time that the cross country program would run in this invitational where you ran next to a set of railroad track that was very busy with activity of buzzing trainings, a water treatment plant that didn’t smell too bad, and a course that was very challenging. The Cavalierettes would finish 12th overall and were paced by Elise Schwieterman who finished 40th in a time of 15:14. She was followed by Izzy Zahn who placed 70th in a time of 17:05. Next across the line was Audrey Lefeld in 78th with a time of 17:30. The next Coldwater runner would be Reagan Homan at 97th in a time of 19:47. Finishing up the lineup for the CXC team was Abby Pax in 105th with a time of 27:04.
The course was not only challenging which contributed to no PR, but the temperature would skyrocket during the race make the 2 mile race even tougher. The girls may not have received PRs today, but they gave PR effort. Good job ladies.
The Ladies will be off until two weeks when we prepare to hold the Lions Invite at Cavalier Stadium. Come out and check out the buzz.
