Maddie Stienke didn’t allow a single run as Coldwater Cavaliers Varsity defeated Lima Perry 18-0 on Monday. Stienke allowed just two hits.

Kate Leichty collected four hits in four at bats to help lead Coldwater Cavaliers Varsity to victory. Leichty singled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the third, and singled in the fourth.

Coldwater Cavaliers Varsity got things started in the first inning when Rachel Klosterman singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Coldwater Cavaliers Varsity scored eight runs in the fourth inning. The rally was led by singles by Macy Sheffer, Leichty, and Kamyrn Rutchilling, an error on a ball put in play by Annelise Harlamert, and a double by Audrey Ziegler.

One bright spot for Lima Perry was a single by L Floyd in the fourth inning.

Stienke took the win for Coldwater Cavaliers Varsity. She allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out 11 and walking zero.

A Plaugher took the loss for Lima Perry. She lasted four innings, allowing 15 hits and 18 runs while striking out four.

Coldwater Cavaliers Varsity racked up 15 hits in the game. Leichty, Ziegler, Leanne Klenke, and Rutchilling all managed multiple hits for Coldwater Cavaliers Varsity. Leichty led Coldwater Cavaliers Varsity with four hits in four at bats. Coldwater Cavaliers Varsity didn’t commit a single error in the field. Klosterman had ten chances in the field, the most on the team.
