Kent Jutte will be considered at the July BOE meeting to come on board to the Cavalier Wrestling Coaching Staff and to help with the Junior High team this winter along with veteran coaches Aaron Alig and Justin Post. Sage Schmitmeyer will be joining the Cavalier team as the new Junior High Cheerleading Coach. Sage is a graduate of Celina High School and Ball State University. She is currently a substitute teacher for the County while she is going back to get her Masters degree in School Counseling and Addiction Counseling.

Congratulations to Coldwater graduate Sam Broering as he received one of the 2018 OHSAA Northwest District Athletic Board Scholarships. This scholarship is based on Grade Point Average and the number of Varsity athletic individual/team achievements earned during their high school career. Congratulations to the Coldwater baseball team as they finished as State Runner Up. The Cavs fell 3-2 to a very good South Range team. Coldwater finished the year with a very good 27-7 overall record. Great job Coach Harlamert and Staff. Thank you Cavalier seniors!
