Girls Varsity Swimming · Coldwater Girls Swimmers to join the Ring of Honor with All Ohio Honors


Congratulations to Macy May, Sarah Diller, Carlee Goodwin, Rachel Wenning, and Heidi Bruns as they earned All Ohio at the State Swim Meet in Canton.  Earning All Ohio will place them in the exclusive Coldwater “Ring of Honor”.  They are the first swimmers to earn All Ohio honors in Coldwater history.

In the 200 Medley Relay, the Lady Cavs set a new school Record breaking their own school record with a time of 1:52.31.  Coming in as the #14 seed, they finished #11 in the State of Ohio.  Relay members are:  Carlee Goodwin, Heidi Bruns, Macy May, and Sarah Diller.

In the 400 Free Relay, the Lady Cavs relay finished with a time of 3:44.61 which was good for #16 in the State of Ohio.  Relay members are:  Macy May, Rachel Wenning, Heidi Bruns, Sarah Diller.

In the 200 Free Relay, the Lady Cavs relay finished with a time of 1:40.57 which was good enough for a 9th place finish in the State.  Relay members were:  Macy May, Rachel Wenning, Heidi Bruns, Sarah Diller

Macy May also earned a spot as an individual in the 100 Butterfly.  Her 12th place finish overall in the State with a time of 59.19 was enough to make her the first individual swimmer to earn All Ohio Honors in school history.

Overall, the girls swim team took home a 19th place finish in the State of Ohio.   Congratulations girls and Coach Matt May on earning a spot in the Ring of Honor!
